GENERAL DENTISTRY

As dental healthcare professionals, we are here to provide and guide our clients with the most optimal oral healthcare. While brushing and flossing is an essential oral home care routine, Dr. Koo and his team will continuously advocate for the most current and innovative oral home care regimen to maintain and improve overall health.

DENTAL HYGIENE AND
REGULAR RECARE

Dr. Koo and his team provide a professional dental cleaning, which remove the plaque, and regular dental examination for our clients. We advise our clients to have their regular recare every 6 months or modified according to the client's needs.

GUM DISEASE AND PERIODONTAL DISEASE

Do your gums bleed when you are brushing your teeth? This is known as gum disease.

Do you know that gum disease is easy to treat when diagnosed early?

Irritation of the gums can be due to different reasons, primarily from the accumulation of heavy plaque. Gum disease can lead to serious infections to the soft tissues and underlying bone structure if left untreated. This will progress to periodontal disease.

Dr. Koo and his team monitors gingival health on a regular basis and offers treatment options as needed.

FLUORIDE TREATMENT

Fluoride is a mineral used to prevent the decay of tooth enamel and the subsequent layers of your teeth. As your teeth encounter acidic and harmful chemicals caused by plaque, the enamel layer becomes worn down over time. Our dental professionals will apply fluoride to your teeth to form a protective layer and prevent further erosion of your enamel.

The regular use of fluoride has additional benefits for children ages 6 to 16. This is the age where the fluoride will actually be incorporated into teeth development. It will make them stronger and provide an additional layer of protection in adulthood.

MOUTH PROTECTOR

SPORTS/MOUTH GUARD

As the dentist for the Toronto Marlies, we prioritize the dental safety of all players by providing custom mouthguards to protect their teeth as they train and compete on the ice. Additionally, our team fabricates a customized mouth protector for all athletes participating in various sports-related activities.

NIGHT GUARD

Do you wake up with a sore jaw? Well, it may be that you are grinding your teeth at night. A night guard can help reduce the pressure on your teeth while you sleep, providing simple protection. Dr. Koo and his team specialize in fabricating customized night guards to address this issue.
